A trio of college football head coaches appear to be on the hot seat following the games in Week 4.
Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is chief among them.
The Buffaloes fell to Baylor on Saturday, dropping to 2-2 on the season. Deion Sanders, who signed a five year, $54 million contract extension through 2029, had little answers for the media following the loss.
“We’re better than this. It seems as though we’re better than our opponents, but the score does not dictate that. And that’s the fascinating thing, we’ve got to find out why,” Sanders said after Colorado’s 23-13 loss at Baylor.

Sanders has done a good job at Colorado in many ways – bringing attention to the program, developing some elite NFL prospects and more – but the wins need to come eventually.
Some fans believe he could be on the hot seat soon.
“Deion Sanders’ record in his last 16 games vs Power Four opponents: 3-13,” one fan wrote.
“Colorado is 19-22 under Deion Sanders. They’re not better than their opponents,” one fan added.
“This program is very unserious. Unfathomably unserious. Embarrassingly unserious. Never saw this coming when this hire happened. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills,” one fan added.
Deion Sanders isn’t the only head coach on the hot seat after Week 4
College football fans think that Maryland Terrapins head coach Mike Locksley could be ousted from his job soon, following a blowout home loss to UCLA.
“This has got to be the last game of the Mike Locksley error……I mean, era We all know Maryland cares more about basketball than football but this is getting out of control,” one fan wrote.
Meanwhile, Michigan Wolverines coach Kyle Whittingham is only in Year 1 in Ann Arbor, but following a shaky (and controversial) victory against Western Michigan, and a brutal loss to Iowa, fans are growing frustrated.
“It was a tough locker room, but told them, hey, it’s a shame we let it get away from us. Sometimes in life you get knocked down and things seem tough and how are you going to overcome that, but that’s life. You have to pick yourself up, get back to work,” he said postgame.
It’ll be interesting to see which college football head coaches are ousted first this season.
