D.C. United host newly promoted Bundesliga side SC Paderborn in a club friendly at Audi Field tonight.
SC Paderborn returned to the Bundesliga this season and have had a mixed campaign so far. The German side have suffered two losses while earning just one win and one draw. Those results have left Paderborn in 12th place ahead of their next league match against VfB Stuttgart after the international break.
Meanwhile, D.C. United sit 11th in the Eastern Conference and are winless in their last three matches.
In their most recent fixture against the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Black-and-Red came from behind twice to secure a 3-3 draw.
Head coach René Weiler will now be looking for a positive result before his team returns to MLS action against Inter Miami next week.
