The Houston Texans are entering Week 4 in desperation mode.
The team was expected to challenge for the AFC South crown and perhaps even contend in 2026, but nothing has gone according to plan. The team is sitting at 0-3 and desperately needs to knock off the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4 if they want to keep their hopes alive.
The good news is, the Texans are getting star wide receiver Nico Collins back for this contest. Now, let’s take a look at Yahoo! Sports and see what the Texans’ playmakers are expected to do from a fantasy football perspective in Week 4.
David Montgomery

Projected Fantasy Points: 12.39
David Montgomery started off the 2026 season on fire. In Week 1, the veteran rushed for two touchdowns and had one receiving touchdown, ending with 27.40 points. It seemed like Montgomery was going to be a fantasy weapon, but that hasn’t happened after Week 1.
Montgomery had less than six points in Week 2 and Week 3. The good news is, the Cowboys have given up the eighth-most fantasy points to running backs this season. Montgomery should have plenty of chances to punch it in near the goal line in this one, making him a solid fantasy start.
Nico Collins

Projected Fantasy Points: 15.21
Nico Collins is coming back in Week 4 after missing Week 2 and Week 3. In Week 1, Collins performed exactly how we’ve come to expect, ending with seven catches for 75 yards and one touchdown, with 17.70 fantasy points.
In Week 4, Collins has a solid matchup to return to. The Cowboys have allowed the third-most yards and the eighth-most points so far this season. The Texans will want to get Collins involved in his first game back, so I expect Collins to be a solid start.
