Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, won a huge NFL bet during Sunday’s Week 4 games.
The founder of the popular sports media company took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to boast about his huge win. Portnoy had a double win on Sunday, as the New England Patriots topped the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots topped the Bills in impressive fashion on Sunday afternoon.
Portnoy announced his $263,000 bet win on Monday.
“Sometimes not always, but just sometimes the little guy gets one! For some reason I thought I did this parlay all moneyline. That’s what I meant to do. So I thought it lost once Raiders lost. But instead I did all spread. I didnt realize it till this morning when I had an extra quarter milly in my account. Congrats to all that tailed! +21 units on the season!” he announced on X.
Portnoy won a five pick parlay, taking the Jaguars +2.5, Rams -3.5, Bears -3.5, Raiders +4.5 and Panthers +3.5. All five teams covered, handing Portnoy a huge win.

NFL fans impressed by Portnoy’s win Sunday
“Hope Dave doesn’t get limited after this one,” one fan joked.
“Accidentally placing the right parlay is the most Portnoy way to win money imaginable,” one fan added.
“What a privilege it is to bet $10k like most peeps bet $10.00,” one fan added.
“Accidentally winning a parlay has to be one of the best feelings of all-time,” DraftKings added.
“Now you can send that directly to Bryce Underwood or Witty’s buyout fund!” one fan added.
You don’t see too many “accidental” betting wins for north of $250,000, so that’s a pretty nice payday for Portnoy.
