Dana White seemed to be pleased with how everything went at UFC 329 in Las Vegas on Saturday night, for the most part anyway.
However, the longtime UFC President made it clear that he was furious with a broadcasting mistake. The UFC broadcast mistakenly identified a legendary fighter as a former NBA player. UFC often welcomes prominent celebrities, athletes, musicians and more to the arena for fight nights.
Usually, the UFC broadcast will correctly identify these figures. However, that did not happen with a particular fighter on Saturday night.

American boxer Shakur Stevenson was in attendance at the fight on Saturday night. However, the UFC broadcast mistakenly referred to the legendary American boxer as NBA player Jalen Williams, of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
There are some appearance similarities, but honestly, not many.

The UFC President did not hold back with his opinion on the mistake.
“I just paid Shakur Stevenson a (expletive) of money, and for some reason we can’t figure this celebrity (expletive) out,” White decried. “They put him up as a (expletive) OKC NBA player. Are you (expletive) kidding me? I mean, it’s just absolutely crazy. We are the absolute worst to ever do the celebrity thing. When we put celebrities up, we are the worst. I just had this (expletive) debate in the back with my guys while I was screaming at everybody back there and they said, ‘No, soccer’s worse. Soccer shows the people and they don’t put up any graphics.’ Oh no. We put up (expletive) graphics and put the wrong guy’s name on it! We win. We’re the worst EVER to (expletive) do it.”
