Pride Month is almost over and as always there has been some controversy. On the heels of a stir involving the San Francisco Giants and their annual Pride Night, UFC President Dana White was asked to weigh in on his company's position on such promotions.
Appearing on Tomi Lahren Is Fearless, White was asked why the UFC doesn't hold Pride Night. White bluntly said that he doesn't care one way or another and just isn't interested in doing something like that.
"I don’t give a (expletive). I don’t care what you are or who you are or what you do. We don’t talk about that or any of that stuff," White said. "I’m just not into it. I let everybody be themselves and do their thing."
Given White's attitude towards most behaviors in general, it's really not all that surprising. As much as he often dislikes it when fighters on his payroll rock the boat with the things they say, he simply brushes them off as annoyances.
The most recent example of this came during the UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House lawn.

The Hokit Incident
Following his knockout win over former UFC title contender Derrick Lewis, Josh Hokit grabbed the mic and joked that former First Lady Michelle Obama is a man.
"Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?" Hokit said during his post-fight interview.
That comment didn't sit well with White or with President Donald Trump. Following the event, White made it clear that he was not happy with Hokit's antics and believed it undermined what he was trying to do with the event. But he also made it clear that he still respects Hokit's freedom of speech.
"You think I’m happy about what Josh Hokit said?" White said. "I’m trying to unify the country and he goes out and says something absolutely stupid like he did that night, but I’m a believer of free speech too."
