The air around the UFC's historic White House card has been thick with speculation, much of it fueled by none other than the unpredictable "Gamebred" himself, Jorge Masvidal. The former BMF Champion has been dropping tantalizing hints and expressing open confidence about a potential showdown with Conor McGregor.

His rumors have painted a picture of a blockbuster welterweight clash between two of the organization’s most recognizable fighters. UFC CEO Dana White, however, has shut down any speculation that a fight between Conor McGregor and Jorge Masvidal is being planned for the promotion's historic White House event.

He announced to TMZ Sports that formal matchmaking for the White House card will start immediately after UFC 324 concludes this Saturday. He also said he plans to have the major bouts for the landmark event finalized by the second week of February.

The UFC White House event, scheduled for June 14, is poised to be one of the most spectacular shows in company history. With matchmaking set to begin in earnest, fans can now expect real fight announcements in the coming weeks, as White and his team work to build a card.
