You can always count on ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky to give you more than you asked for when he’s on television. That was the case again on First Take this week when he revealed he was “devastated” when his wife told him she was pregnant.
During a segment where they were discussing a viral video of a gender reveal party, Orlovsky admitted that back when his wife announced she was pregnant with their daughter, Orlovsky was “devastated” by the revelation. He explained that they had only just had triplets and he was “tired.” But he recovered by stating that he adores his daughter.
“When we had our triplet sons and then my wife notified me that she was pregnant, I was devastated. I was bummed. Just because I was so tired. And now I adore my daughter,” Orlovsky said.

Viewers on social media clearly didn’t find the story nearly as amusing as Orlovsky did:
“I can’t believe this is first take. For better or worse, SAS and Skip provided real entertainment for over a decade. This (expletive) is wild,” one user remarked.
“How does anyone actually listen to this garbage? ESPN has fallen so far it’s wild to imagine,” wrote another.
“If you only see clips, you’ll never guess what this show is supposed to be about. I suppose even if you watch the show, you might have a tough time,” a third wrote.

“Just a genuine bad dude in the blandest way.”
“bruh he is such an odd individual, heavy contender for being the least likable guy in football media right now.”
Orlovsky is already making waves for showing support to his ESPN colleague Pat McAfee. It’s a good thing he has his family to keep him occupied because if he was on social media for long enough he’d probably get a real taste of just how much people dislike him right now.
