The rookie is averaging 13.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 45.6% from the field and 39.7% from three across 30 games.
Her return to the lineup would have given Dallas another perimeter threat alongside Paige Bueckers against a Minnesota team that has been rolling. The Lynx enter Sunday at 26-7 and have won 11 of their last 12 games, putting them atop the WNBA standings.
Dallas has managed only one win since the All-Star break, making Sunday’s matchup an important opportunity to steady its season. The Wings have 12 games remaining after Friday’s loss, while Minnesota has already secured a playoff berth and continues to set the pace at the top of the league.
