While some Dallas Cowboys fans probably didn’t mind one way or another if Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels got hurt in a game, it looks like Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was very concerned.
Dak and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb were seen stopping their walk to the Cowboys locker room after realizing what had happened to Daniels. Video shows Dak looking at the field with some concern, wondering if Daniels was hurt. Both men looked pretty shocked.
Good Sportsmanship
Fans were very proud to see Dak show so much concern for an opposing player on a rival team:
“Dak (is) a good dude, been through his fair share of injuries and trolling. Gotta respect at least he cared a bit I think,” one user replied on X.
“That reaction says it all. 🙏🏽 You never want to see an opponent go down like that. Football comes second when it’s someone’s health,” wrote another.
“He’s been through the injuries and all the trolling, but at least you know Dak gave a damn,” a third wrote.
“As much as I hate Prescott when he plays us, he’s a good dude. Same with Hurts, especially when the FedEx guard rail gave and he was there helping the fans and being just a dude. JD5 will survive this, and he will thrive again.”
“Rivalry aside a lot of these guys are friends off field so this isn’t too surprising. This ain’t the old days where players legit hate one another bc of the uniform they put on. Much respect to Dak, CD, and their OC.”

Daniels wound up suffering a dislocated elbow, though the extent of the injury remains to be seen.
The early diagnosis from onlookers suggests it could be something simple that won’t affect his career at all while others worry that surgery could complicate things forever.
Hopefully it’s the former.
