Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have picked up where they left off from the 2025 NFL season, scoring 30-plus points each of the last three weeks. Quarterback Prescott is sixth in the NFL with 1,065 passing yards, tied for sixth in touchdowns with eight and ranked third in QBR with a mark of 83.3.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has been sensational this season, currently first in the league with both 37 catches and 498 receiving yards while being tied for third in receiving touchdowns with four. With guard Tyler Smith returning to practice Monday, running back Javonte Williams and the run game should see a boost. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer has the Cowboys sitting at 2-2 heading into Week 5.

After the game, Prescott revealed that he was dealing with some pain during the game and was seen wearing a cover on his hand when it was stepped on during an intentional grounding play. He also revealed that his hand had swelling. On Monday, a positive development emerged about the 6-foot-2 quarterback after the unfortunate news.
The Athletic’s Jon Machota went to the social media website X to report on Prescott’s injury. Machota wrote that the 2022 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year was seen without a wrap on his throwing hand. In the post, he provided a picture to corroborate the report.
“No wrap on Dak Prescott’s throwing hand,” Machota wrote on X.
Dallas will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at AT&T Stadium in Arlington for Thursday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET, with coverage on Amazon Prime Video.
