The Dallas Cowboys haven't won a Super Bowl in more than 30 years. Heck, it's been that long since they played in an NFC Championship Game.
But, as America's Team heads into the 2026 NFL regular season, the Cowboys are once again facing high expectations.
Dallas missed the playoffs last season, struggling mightily on the defensive side of the football. However, the Cowboys have made some big moves this offseason, including the drafting of Ohio State star Caleb Downs, and they are optimistic heading into the 2026 regular season.

Dak Prescott, who has served as the starting quarterback for the Cowboys for the past 10 years, is hopeful, too.
The Pro Bowl quarterback has admitted that it's "Super Bowl or Bust" for the Cowboys as they enter the 2026 season.
Of course, it's always Super Bowl or bust for Jerry Jones' team.
Cowboys facing Super Bowl or bust expectations
Prescott made it clear: the Super Bowl is the goal, always.
“That’s the one thing I love about the Cowboys Nation and being a player of the Cowboys is, it’s Super Bowl or bust,” Prescott said Friday. “And truthfully, that’s the only reason you play this game. And so if that’s not your mindset, if that’s not your mindset as a fan, then to me, you don’t have the right passion. You’re not a true winner. So absolutely, we’re working every day for it.
“Whether it be competing away from the game or even in the game when we’re competing, that’s why we have players like Caleb [Downs], changed our defensive coordinator, that scheme, and super excited about what we’re going to offer you guys.”
Prescott isn't backing down from the expectations, but at a certain point, talk is cheap. The Cowboys will have to let their results do the talking. And they haven't been saying much lately.
