Buffalo Bills wide receiver D.J. Moore missed another practice Thursday, putting his availability for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders in doubt.
The Bills’ official injury report listed Moore as a non-participant for a second straight day with a shoulder injury. After sitting out Monday night’s overtime win over the Los Angeles Rams, the receiver has little practice time left before Sunday.
Moore’s status concerns quarterback Josh Allen as Buffalo prepares for Week 6. The Bills have other targets, but losing a key receiver limits their options and puts more pressure on the remaining pass-catchers. His ability to threaten defenses vertically gives Buffalo a way to create space for throws.
The injury report also listed defensive lineman Ed Oliver as a non-participant for a second consecutive day because of a knee issue. His continued absence would leave Buffalo monitoring an important part of its defensive front alongside the uncertainty surrounding Moore.
Wide receiver Joshua Palmer was limited Thursday, giving the Bills another question to resolve before the weekend. His participation offers a potential boost, but does not guarantee he will be available or at full strength against Las Vegas.
Moore’s absence was felt Monday against Los Angeles, when Buffalo needed overtime to secure a 37-34 victory. Allen carried much of the workload on the ground, rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown. The Bills will hope their passing attack operates more smoothly if Moore remains sidelined.

Buffalo enters the Raiders matchup at 4-1, with a strong start to protect while managing injuries on both sides of the ball. Las Vegas hosts the Bills on Sunday, October 18.
Friday’s final practice report should clarify Moore’s chances. Until the team confirms his game status, his back-to-back absences are a warning sign, not an official ruling that he will miss Week 6.
