The UEFA World Cup qualifier Path D final will be between the Czech Republic and Denmark at the EPET ARENA in Parha, Czechia.
The Czech Republic and Denmark won their respective semifinal qualifiers last week in Path D, with the Czech Republic eliminating Ireland and Denmark eliminating North Macedonia.
Last Thursday, Denmark defeated North Macedonia 4-0 at Parken in Copenhagen, Denmark. Gustav Isaksen scored a brace for Denmark; Mikkkel Damsgaard and Christian Norgaard scored the other two goals.
The Czech Republic and Ireland drew 2-2 after 90 minutes, and the match went to extra time. Initially, Ireland was leading 2-0 with goals from Troy Parrott and an own goal from Matej Kovar.
Patrik Schick scored one back for the Czech Republic a few minutes after Ireland's second goal. Late in the second half, Lasislav Krejci scored the equalizer.
The match went to penalties after the game remained tied after extra time. In the penalty shootout, Ireland missed two penalties, and Jan Kliment scored the winning penalty to reach the next stage.
