Chicago Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong made MLB history during Tuesday’s 7-3 win over the Atlanta Braves at Wrigley Field.
Crow-Armstrong went 4-for-5 with a double, four RBI, a run scored and a stolen base. The performance gave him his seventh game this season with at least four hits, multiple extra-base hits and a home run.
OptaSTATS noted on X that Crow-Armstrong is the first player in the modern era to accomplish that feat seven times in one season.
The historic night added another milestone to what has been an outstanding season for the 24-year-old center fielder. Crow-Armstrong entered the game batting .281 with 42 home runs, 102 RBI and 37 stolen bases in 151 games.
He also matched Cubs Hall of Famer Billy Williams for the most home runs by a left-handed hitter in a single season in franchise history.
Crow-Armstrong’s latest performance came with Chicago trying to strengthen its position in the National League Wild Card race. The Cubs improved to 84-67 with the victory and moved into the top Wild Card position.
Chicago has received major production from Crow-Armstrong throughout the season, with his power and speed giving the lineup another dangerous dimension.

His 42 home runs are part of a 78-extra-base-hit total that includes 29 doubles and seven triples. He has also remained a threat on the bases with 37 steals.
The Cubs will now look to carry that momentum through the final stretch of the regular season. Crow-Armstrong, meanwhile, continues to add to a historic season every time he takes the field.
