Rayo Vallecano, meanwhile, secured an eighth-place finish in La Liga under Inigo Perez and have enjoyed one of the strongest European campaigns in the club’s history.
The final will be played at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, Germany, with Crystal Palace looking to end Glasner’s spell at the club with silverware while Rayo Vallecano are appearing in their first European final as well, making this a historic occasion for both sides.
