Owner and general manager Jerry Jones is obsessed with taking the Cowboys back to their golden era. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to do so. The modern-era Cowboys have shown real promise during the regular season, but they have struggled to turn that into deep postseason runs, adding to the frustrations of the passionate fans.

The Cowboys' 2025 NFL season was no different. The Dak Prescott-led Cowboys recorded some dominant regular season wins but ended the season with a 7-9-1 record and missed the NFL playoffs entirely. While the offense showed up, the same old issues continued to be exposed: the talent on the roster has not translated into Super Bowl wins.
While the Cowboys continue to chase that ring in the 2026 NFL season, former NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar is also doing the same. However, his reasons are completely different. Bernie recently revealed that his Super Bowl ring has been stolen, leading him to make an unexpected request to Jerry Jones.
Speaking on "The Sage Steele Show," Bernie requested that Jones help him replace that ring, saying, "I lost it, so I can't wear it. And Jerry, I'm going to be calling you because it got stolen. I'm going to be calling you for another one, bro. So, please help me out again."
While it remains to be seen whether Jones will replace Kosar's ring, the Cowboys are once again entering a season with their sights set on the Super Bowl.
