One of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' most popular members is quitting the team. Some NFL fans are blaming her husband.

Reece Weaver, a veteran Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader with millions of followers across social media, announced at the end of Season 3 of Netflix’s “America’s Sweethearts," that she is leaving the squad for unnamed opportunities.

Some fans are blaming her husband.

The couple, which met at the University of Alabama, got married in their early 20s. They live in Alabama and are openly religious. Some felt that Reece's husband, Will Allman, wanted her to be more of a traditional wife.

But Weaver isn't happy with that.

“It makes me frustrated, because that could not be more far from the truth,” Weaver told the Wall Street Journal. “He was so supportive, no matter what decision I made.”

Allman brushed off the criticism, too.

“Reece is a bunch of people’s favorites,” he said. “Those people are going to find something else to blame if I wasn’t there, so it doesn’t really affect me a whole lot.”

NFL fans remain critical

“So supportive that he pressured her to quit while pretending he wasn’t pressuring her,” one viewer wrote on Reddit.

Another NFL fan added: “‘I’ll do whatever you need,’ he says as he wears his Alabama shirt, looking depressed.”

The now-former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader's husband, meanwhile, has been active on social media as well. He's doing cooking videos online and helping his wife with her social media influencing career.

“I really didn’t have any, like, massive dreams or anything, so I was like, ‘My dream is to pursue this woman,’ ” Allman said in Season 1.

“I’d love to see it be successful,” he told the WSJ of his videos. “But I’d love to see my wife successful 10 times more.”
