Lexie Hull and the Indiana Fever, after a dramatic 90-86 win over the Chicago Sky on Saturday, looked to make it two in a row as Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty visited Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Fever entered Tuesday's game with a 20-12 record, tied with the Atlanta Dream for fourth place in the league standings.
Going into the game, Hull had recorded 499 rebounds during her five-year career with Indiana. And with 5:27 remaining in the first quarter, Hull grabbed an offensive rebound off of a missed Caitlin Clark 11-footer, before hitting a putback layup to extend the Indiana lead to 15-9.
This marked the first rebound of the game for the former Stanford Cardinal guard, along with the 500th rebound of her career, reaching that milestone in 167 games.
