The Indianapolis Colts received encouraging news on Keenan Allen ahead of their matchup with the Tennessee Titans, as the veteran wide receiver followed Thursday’s full practice with another full session Friday.
The Colts shared their latest practice report Friday, confirming Allen was a full participant for the second consecutive day. The update gives Colts HC Shane Steichen reason for optimism as Indianapolis prepares for its Week 6 divisional matchup.
Allen was given a veteran rest day Wednesday before returning to full participation Thursday. His consecutive full practices are an encouraging sign as the team evaluates his availability for Sunday.
The timing is helpful for Indianapolis as it prepares for an AFC South game against Tennessee. Allen brings extensive experience and detailed route-running to a receiving group facing questions about its available options.
Tight end Tyler Warren is listed as questionable with a groin injury, while wide receiver Ashton Dulin has been ruled out with a hamstring issue. Alec Pierce is also listed out with a heel injury, leaving the Colts without another important downfield option.
Allen’s availability could matter beyond simply adding another name to the lineup. His ability to find space underneath and offer quarterback Daniel Jones a dependable target would give the offense another way to sustain drives if other pass catchers are unavailable.

Colts HC Shane Steichen will hope Allen’s progress continues through the weekend and translates into a valuable contribution against Tennessee. However, consecutive full practices do not guarantee a player will be active, making the final game designation important.
Indianapolis will look for Allen to provide a steady presence in the passing game as it prepares for Sunday. After two straight full practices, the veteran receiver appears to be moving in the right direction ahead of the divisional matchup.
