Colombia will play against Costa Rica in a friendly match in Colombia before they travel to North America for the 2026 World Cup.
Colombia will play two group stage matches in Mexico and one in the United States this summer. The friendly match against Costa Rica will be played at the Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campin in Bogota, Colombia.
In the March international break, Colombia played against Croatia and France in the United States, and both games resulted in losses for the South Americans.

Against Croatia, Colombia lost 2-1, with Jhon Arias being the goalscorer for Colombia. In the match against France, Colombia lost 3-1, and Jaminton Campaz scored the only goal for the Colombians.
Costa Rica did not qualify for the 2026 World Cup after qualifying for the three previous World Cups. In March, Costa Rica drew 2-2 with Jordan in Turkiye.
