Thursday’s card is light on ranked matchups, which means the real opportunity sits in the mid-majors. That’s often where the market lags and where teams that quietly cover all season keep paying off. This article focuses on three of the best bets on the board, built around consistency, situational edges, and proven against the spread trends.

The night starts on Long Island with a disciplined, competitive squad, moves down I-95 to the First State where a team thrives at the free-throw line, and wraps up with a program comfortable playing at altitude and winning on the road. After a profitable 2-1 Wednesday, the goal is simple—stay sharp, trust the numbers, and keep the momentum rolling into the weekend.

Stony Brook Seawolves +4.5 (-105)

I’m rolling with Stony Brook based on its recent form, even if the head-to-head history isn’t ideal. The Feb. 5 meeting was decided by just one point, underscoring how close these teams match up. The Seawolves have won and covered eight of their last 10 and sit 17-9 against the spread (ATS), driven by efficient three-point shooting and solid defensive discipline. Coach Geno Ford has this group playing consistent, competitive basketball in the CAA. Meanwhile, Monmouth has struggled to cover, failing in five of its last seven and its last three at home. With momentum and strong trends on its side, Stony Brook is the better bet to cover.

Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens +7.5 (-115)

Delaware looks like they can compete with Jacksonville State, losing but still covering in the Jan. 2 meeting. The Blue Hens have been a strong bet lately, covering in five of their last six and two of their last three on the road. They also bring key advantages offensively, shooting 35.6% from three, third-best in the conference, and leading the league in free-throw percentage at 77.5%. Jacksonville State is on a four-game losing streak and has failed to cover in three of those, while continuing to adjust to a roster with 12 new players. Poor free-throw shooting and late-game execution have been major issues, giving Delaware an edge.

Denver Pioneers -4.5 (-112)

Denver has been a cash cow this season, sitting 18-9 ATS and posting an impressive 12-4 on the road. The Pioneers have also dominated this matchup, winning and covering their last three meetings with Oral Roberts, including Jan. 14. They come in hot, winning and covering five of their last six, fueled by a fast-paced offense that ranks 40th nationally at 83.4 points per game. Under coach Tim Bergstraser, Denver has embraced tougher competition and an aggressive style. Meanwhile, Oral Roberts has struggled through a coaching transition and roster turnover, losing and failing to cover in eight of its last 10 and posting just a 4-7 ATS mark at home.

Alt-Parlay of College Basketball Best Bets

If you're feeling confident in these plays, why not throw them into an alt-parlay with a better payout. The current odds are +336 for the aforementioned combined bet.
