With Week 1 of the 2026 season in the books, Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd has unveiled his top 10 teams in the NFL.
Over the past 24 hours, Cowherd has made it abundantly clear that he’s very confident in the New York Giants now that John Harbaugh is leading the charge. His team made a statement on “Sunday Night Football,” defeating the Dallas Cowboys 28-20. Unsurprisingly, the G-Men cracked the top-10 in Cowherd’s latest rankings.
“I don’t care what any of you say. The Giants are talented,” Cowhers said. “They have a culture issue, not a talent issue. Abdul Carter and Brian Burns on the edge. Tell me a better edge rushing tandem than those guys. [Malik] Nabers, Jaxson Dart, [Cam] Skattebo, Arvell Reese. How about Francis Mauigoa, the offensive lineman? 36 pass blocking snaps, didn’t allow a hit. Talent is not the issue. They could use another corner. It was a coaching, culture, and health issue. Jaxson Dart, Skattebo, Reese, Burns, Abdul Carter, Andrew Thomas. Dudes are not the problem. I had them as the most improved team.”

Even though Cowherd loves the Giants, he has the Bills ranked No. 1 in the latest edition of the “Herd Hierarchy.”
Here’s the top 10:
- Bills
- Seahawks
- Ravens
- Bears
- Jaguars
- 49ers
- Chiefs
- Giants
- Bengals
- Eagles
Who was left out this week?
Cowherd said he still believes in the Los Angeles Rams, but he can’t put them in the top 10 right now due to their Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. It also doesn’t help that Myles Garrett went on injured reserve due to a knee injury.
The Denver Broncos and Houston Texans have also received love from Cowherd this year, but they fell outside the top 10 due to their respective losses.
An updated “Herd Hierarchy” will be unveiled next Tuesday.
