The NFL playoffs aren't close to being over, and yet, Fox Sports radio host Colin Cowherd is already making predictions for the 2026 season.
During this Thursday's episode of "The Herd," Cowherd discussed all nine head-coaching vacancies in the NFL. Several notable franchises, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, are in the market for a new coach. They learned this week that Mike Tomlin is stepping down after an incredible 19-year run.
The Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans are also searching for new leaders this January. It's unclear when they'll narrow down their respective searches.
The New York Giants, meanwhile, are trying to finalize a deal with John Harbaugh. They had an extensive meeting on Wednesday that reportedly ended with an agreement. He's expected to sign a five-year deal worth around $100 million.
Not only does Cowherd expect Harbaugh to immediately establish a culture, he has the Giants winning at least double-digit games next season.
"If you want to go from a bad team in the NFL to a good team in the NFL, hire the best coach on the market," Cowherd said. "The New York Giants were 4-13 this year. Double their win total next year. My guess? They get to 10-11 wins. The Giants didn't need an offensive coordinator, they needed a crisis coordinator. This is a job for Harbaugh."

The Giants have a ton of potential.
When it comes to the quarterback situation, the Giants have a really promising option in Jaxson Dart. The rookie from Ole Miss finished the 2025 season with 2,272 passing yards, 487 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns.
What made Dart's rookie season so impressive was that he didn't really struggle despite losing Pro Bowl wideout Malik Nabers and running back Cam Skattebo to injuries. He'll have both of them back for the 2026 season.
On the defensive side of the football, New York has two very talented pass rushers in Brian Burns and Abdul Carter. We'd have to imagine Harbaugh will find the right defensive coordinator to get the best out of that position group.
Will Harbaugh go 11-6 next season with the Giants? We're not sure, but we doubt they'll go 4-13 again.
