WWE SmackDown: London featured another brawl that erupted in the middle of the show.
Cody Rhodes addressed the WWE Universe to a mixed reaction. While the London crowd sang along to “Kingdom,” loud boos followed once the music stopped. Rhodes acknowledged the response on the microphone—another sign that his character is evolving.
After declaring himself as the first entrant in the Royal Rumble, Rhodes called out Jacob Fatu.
In addition to the Grudge Match announcement, four superstars advanced to a Fatal Four-Way Match that will determine the No. 1 contender for Drew McIntyre’s Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble:
- Randy Orton
- Trick Williams
- Damian Priest
- Sami Zayn
The lineup all but guarantees a high-level match in Montreal. Orton and Zayn stand out as early favorites. Zayn, in particular, would be a compelling choice—earning a hometown win before heading to Riyadh — where he will also receive a hero's welcome — to challenge McIntyre on a major PLE.
