Decades of coaching haven't seemed to age Mike Krzyzewski as much as his peers.

After 42 seasons at Duke, the five-time national champion is enjoying the NCAA men's tournament as a spectator. A March Madness conversation on Monday's The Pat McAfee Showtook an unexpected turn when Coach K addressed some other non-basketball allegations.

Pat McAfee told Krzyzewski that he's encouraged ESPN executives to consider the retired legend for a TV gig. Coach K joked that he has "more of a radio face," leading McAfee to mention his hair.

Before McAfee could extend his thought, Krzyzewski rushed to deny using any products to keep his hair black.

"No, I don't color my hair," Krzyzewski insisted. "I'm 79. A lot of people accuse me of that. I don’t have much hair to color, either."

Coach K also confirmed that he doesn't color his eyebrows.

"There's maybe one gray hair," he told McAfee. "And quit looking at my damn eyebrows."

Even if he's not preparing for a game, Krzyzewski still has more than hair to discuss in March.

The Blue Devils are seeking their first national title since Coach K stepped down in 2022. They remain alive, advancing to the Sweet 16 after a closer-than-expected win over No. 16 Siena and second-round victory against TCU.

Coach K said he's "really proud" of Duke and hopes Caleb Foster can return for Friday's game against St. John's. Jon Scheyer said there's an "outside chance" the guard will return from a foot injury that's sidelined him since March 7.

Duke remains a top title contender, but Krzyzewski believes the field remains open. Fellow No. 1 seeds Arizona and Michigan are still dancing, and Coach K thinks another No. 2 seed is capable of making noise.

"I don't know if there's a clear-cut favorite right now," he said. "Purdue, Matt Painter's done an amazing job. His three seniors have done an incredible job. So they're old and they're playing, I think, their best basketball."
