As the police and the public continue to search for Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie, one woman has gone viral for having a classless photoshoot in front of the home where she was allegedly taken.
A woman and a photographer caused a major controversy outside of Nancy Guthrie's Arizona home. A woman showed up in leather micro-shorts, a crop top and motorcycle boots to have a risque photoshoot in front of the home, as friends and family members continue to pray for Nancy's return.
An investigative reporter, JLR Investigates, shared the photo of the woman and her photographer on X.
"A woman & her cameraman just arrived to Nancy Guthrie's home," he wrote.
The New York Post shared a video of the "ghoulish" photoshoot which took place outside of the Tucson, Arizona house.
"Ghoulish streamers are turning Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson home into a grim spectacle as they feud with each other a month after the 84-year-old grandmother went missing," they reported.
The woman has since been identified
The woman, who goes by Kiki, is a social media influencer. She has been posting on X, defending herself for the photoshoot. She's also accused the media of acting inappropriately towards her.
She claims that she wasn't doing a "photoshoot," but rather taking photos for her YouTube account.
"I would have responded here sooner, but I had to dust off this X account considering majority of ppl my age dont use X anymore," she wrote.
"ANYWAYS...this was not a photoshoot, this was a video shoot for my own channel & the photos you see being taken are for the channel thumbnail..."
She also sarcastically thanked the investigative reporter who tweeted out a photo of her.
"I have to say thank you JLR. You successfully turned all the attention from nancy guthrie & diverted it to me! I think the FBI would applaud you for your job well done! While you were focusing all your attention me, I was reporting the facts & raising awareness in my own video," she wrote.
Regardless of the intention, though, the woman is facing criticism for her outfit and decisions.
"Seems like odd outfits to be wearing," one wrote.
"Um, they do not appear to be serious news people," one added.
"I'm sorry but this is damn near blasphemous. I really feel sorry for the Guthrie family," another person shared.
What do you make of the behavior?
