There’s not much worse than a nasty divorce where kids are caught in the middle. Unfortunately, MMA icon Chuck Liddell’s divorce from his now-ex-wife Heidi has taken a potentially scary turn.
According to TMZ, Liddell has filed for an emergency custody order of their 14-year-old daughter Guinevere after accusing Heidi of abducting her. Liddell is demanding that Guinevere be “returned to him and placed in his custody full time.”
The former UFC champion alleged that Heidi abducted their daughter prior to her first day of high school and allegedly “manipulated” her into relocating to another county against prior court orders. Liddell has alleged this is part of a larger effort to get Guinevere and their 13-year-old son Charlie to move with her, and accused her of disobey multiple custody-related orders.
Liddell further claims that Heidi recently took their daughter during his custodial week with “no intent to return her.” He cited the potential for “irreparable harm” to Guinevere if the order does not go through.
Heidi denies it.
TMZ contacted Heidi, who told them that she never abducted their daughter and that it was Guinevere that “begged her” to take her from Liddell’s home.
Heidi alleged that Liddell has been “obsessed” with staying in her life since the divorce and is trying to “control” her. She said that their kids “don’t feel safe speaking up to him” when they’re with him.
“For the past 5 years after our divorce, Chuck has been obsessed with staying in my life and trying to control me,” she told the outlet.

She further stated that she never abducted anyone and that she always has the door open for her kids to see her ex-husband.
“My door has always been open for my kids to see Chuck and I never abducted anyone,” she said.
Liddell and Heidi finalized their divorce in April 2025 following 14 years together.
