Chloe Bibby and the Minnesota Lynx dropped their fourth game in the last five, falling to 32-11 on Tuesday night after a 96-77 loss to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. And with one game left in the regular season, also against the Fever, the Lynx are all of a sudden in danger of losing the No. 1 seed in the WNBA Playoffs to the Golden State Valkyries.

Bibby, in her fourth game with Minnesota, tallied season highs of 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting in 26 minutes of action, adding two rebounds and one assist as well. The forward had started the 2026 season with the Chicago Sky on a developmental contract before signing a rest-of-season contract with the Lynx in early August.

Bibby also spent nine games with the Fever in 2025 before she was selected in the 2026 WNBA Expansion Draft.

But with just 48 hours until the Lynx’s final regular-season game, Bibby’s focus will be getting back on track before the playoffs begin. Fortunately for Minnesota, owning the tiebreaker with Golden State, they control their own destiny for the No. 1 seed and home-court advantage in the postseason.

Following the loss to the Fever, Bibby had a message for her team, who are clearly eyeing that No. 1 seed with one game left. Unfortunately for the former Indiana forward, she could be receiving a fine for her comments.

“Lock the (expletive) in,” Bibby said. “Lock in, just lock in, offense, defense. It’s up to us, we dictate how we play on offense and defense. That’s on us. We got to lock in and get it done.”

WNBA players and coaches can receive fines from the league for their comments during postgame interviews, mostly for cursing and criticizing officials, though these fines are not publicized. Even Fever star was fined for her comments on the officials in her own podcast, saying, “Dude, they fined me $1,500. I was like what? This is just the beginning! You’re kidding!”

And with Bibby cursing during her postgame presser, she could have a fine coming her way.

Bibby and the Lynx will face the Fever on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
