Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was seen teaching fellow tight end Jared Wiley a blocking technique during training camp.
Kelce has taken Wiley under his wing, as he was recently spotted demonstrating an in-game move to him.
Sports reporter Matt Foster posted a video of Kelce and Wiley in camp, where the three-time Super Bowl winner showed the third-year TE how to properly block.
With Kelce’s mentorship, the former TCU star, who was drafted in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, is looking to improve his numbers from last season, when he had one catch for four yards.
Fans quickly chimed in on Kelce’s gesture for his younger teammate.
“This is called the bull hop press. Teaching you how to stop a bull rush 🫡,” a user stated.
“Just doing his job as gym teacher 🥹,” read a comment.
“Coach him up Killa,” another fan added.
“the goat just passing the knowledge. you love to see it,” a supporter proclaimed.
“Kelce coaching up his teammate. Jared Wiley learning from the vet,” a user pointed out.
“He’s so big. He jumps so high and can run so fast. But he’s also very nimble and light on his feet. Wow. What a fine specimen,” another comment read.
“You know, I for some reason thought Wiley was around the same size as Kelce. In this Kelce is visibly bigger,” a fan said.
Kelce sat out their preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday, along with other key players.
Meanwhile, Wiley played in the game and finished with one catch for nine yards and no touchdowns, as the team eventually suffered a 20-12 defeat to Los Angeles inside Arrowhead Stadium.
Next up for Kelce and Co. is their second scheduled preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium.
