"Browns traded reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett," said the Chiefs star. "That's right, they traded the best defensive player in the league.
"They traded him for Jared Verse, who is a hell of a ball player, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2029 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick as well."

Kelce also highlighted what Los Angeles' lineup now has and what could be expected from the franchise.
"You got the MVP on offense and the defensive player of the year on defense," Kelce said. "Man, it sounds like kind of the makeup that they had when they won their last one."
Kelce was referencing L.A.'s Super Bowl win in 2022, when they defeated Joe Burrow amnd the Cincinnati Bengals. The Chiefs TE believes the Rams are capable of repeating history this season.
The Rams are going all-in to maximize Matthew Stafford's window. He earned his first MVP award last season after completing 388-of-597 passes for 4,707 yards, 46 touchdowns and eight interceptions. The 38-year-old is in the twilight of his career, and he and his team are intent on making another push for another championship.
Kelce, on the other hand, agreed to a one-year, $12 million contract to return for his 14th season. He'll play a pivotal role for the Chiefs as they aim to bounce back after missing the playoffs for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era.
