Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is coming back for another season. The 11-time Pro Bowler is not done yet, and he is now set to suit up for at least one more year for the Chiefs.
Kelce recently announced his decision to delay his retirement for a second consecutive year. On Monday, the 36-year-old was back in the Chiefs’ facility, where he officially signed his contract extension.
Another year for Kelce means more Taylor Swift appearances at Arrowhead Stadium in 2026. Swift has been a semi-regular fixture in Chiefs home games, and this should be the case again for the upcoming season.

It was Kelce who played the role of a supportive fiancé on Thursday, though. The four-time All-Pro tight end made the trip to Los Angeles, California, to be Swift’s date for the 2026 iHeart Radio Music Awards.
The Chiefs proudly flexed Kelce’s decision to support his future wife for the highly anticipated awards show. The team took to social media to post a photo of the lovely couple, along with its reaction to Kelce’s offseason move.

Swift won a total of seven awards on Thursday night, including Pop Album of the Year. She made sure to give a special shoutout to Kelce during her acceptance speech.
"‘The Life of a Showgirl’ was really inspired by the energy that I felt like looking into crowds and seeing you guys every single night," she said. "This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that's the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who's here tonight."
Kelce and Swift got engaged in August last year after roughly two years of dating. The details of their upcoming wedding, however, remain under wraps.
