NBA star James Harden shared a series of photos from the FIFA World Cup final festivities on Instagram, revealing that he watched the championship match from the Adidas suite.
Harden captioned the post: "Adidas Suite with some elite company #Uno."
The carousel featured Harden posing alongside several high-profile figures associated with Adidas and the World Cup, highlighting the star-studded atmosphere surrounding Sunday's championship. That included Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell, former French World Cup champion Zinedine Zidane and Mahomes.
The Chiefs quarterback noticed the post and quickly showed his approval in the comments.
"💪🏽💪🏽," Mahomes wrote.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has long supported the sport through his ownership stake in Sporting Kansas City and has frequently been seen attending major soccer events.
The World Cup final itself was one of the biggest sporting events of the year. Spain defeated Lionel Messi and Argentina 1-0 to lift the trophy, ending Argentina's bid for back-to-back World Cup titles after winning the tournament in 2022.
With the World Cup now complete, Mahomes' focus will soon shift back to football as the Chiefs prepare for training camp. Kansas City enters the 2026 NFL season with championship expectations once again, led by Mahomes as they look to make another Super Bowl run.
