Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes accidentally hit his teammate on the back of the head during training camp.
The Chiefs’ preparation continues at Missouri Western State University, and their prized quarterback, Mahomes, went viral over a humorous incident.
In a recent video clip posted by Sports Illustrated on its official X account, the three-time Super Bowl champion is seen hitting teammate Hunter Nourzard on the back of the head.
Mahomes was trying to pass the ball when it slipped from his hand and accidentally hit the offensive lineman. Fortunately, there wasn't much power in the throw, and the two shared a laugh after the incident.

The target of the pass was wide receiver Andrew Armstrong, but Mahomes' error resulted in a hilarious training camp blooper.
The former No. 10 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft also continues his recovery to full health ahead of the season, after being fully cleared to participate in team practices.
Fans quickly reacted to Mahomes' mishap with a mix of funny and roasting reactions.
“It doesn’t make it any lesser funny or true, but it looks like Mahomes is trying to pull it back because it was a DUCK to the back of the dome,” a fan said.

Kansas City is scheduled to open its season against the Denver Broncos on Sept. 14 in front of its home fans at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
