Patrick Mahomes had a short but clear reaction after Texas Tech unveiled its latest uniform honoring the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.
The new all-black uniform draws from Texas Tech’s Masked Rider tradition while featuring Mahomes’ personal branding. His Gladiator logo appears on the uniform, while his name is also displayed on the back of the helmet.
The Red Raiders posted on X, “The @PatrickMahomes ‘Let’s Ride’ uniform 🐴.”
The Red Raiders will debut the uniform against Houston on September 18. It marks another collaboration between Texas Tech, Adidas and Mahomes, continuing a relationship that connects the quarterback’s professional profile with his college roots.
Mahomes responded to the post by writing, “WreckEm ⏰🔥.”
Mahomes’ reaction was brief, but it showed his excitement about seeing the design reach the field when the new season of college football starts.
