Few NFL teams, if any, have gotten the benefit of the doubt more from officiating crews than the Kansas City Chiefs over the years.
Ask any NFL fan to name the team that they believe gets the most beneficial treatment from the refs and, odds are, they’ll say the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Andy Reid and Co. have proven themselves, time and again, to be legitimate contenders each and every season. They’ve won three Super Bowls, after all.
But at points during their dynasty, the Chiefs have been on the receiving end of some beneficial calls from the refs. The same happened with Tom Brady and the Patriots, of course.
However, on Sunday night, Chiefs fans made it clear that they were not happy with the officiating crew, in an overtime win against the Colts. They were booing loudly. NFL fans aren’t having it, though.

NFL fans have made it clear: Chiefs fans are not allowed to get upset with the referees – at least for a while.
NFL fans agree: Chiefs fans cannot boo
“Chiefs fans booing the refs. Thats special,” one fan wrote.
“Chiefs fans should be banned from booing the refs for at least 5 to 10 years,” another NFL fan suggested.
“Chiefs fans booing the refs because the game is actually being called fairly and correctly for once in a Chiefs game is hilarious,” one fan added.
“Chiefs fans booing is just hilarious. You couldn’t find a team that’s benefited more from officiating calls than them,” one fan added.
The Chiefs fans that booed likely aren’t going to stop moving forward. Every NFL fan probably thinks that the refs are out to get their favorite team.
Still, NFL fans made it clear that they were happy about the Chiefs’ fan base’s behavior Sunday night.
