Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs are making major changes in the coaching ranks after their forgettable 2025 season. It’s the first time the Chiefs have missed the playoffs since 2014, which was Reid’s second year with the team.

Since the season ended for the Chiefs, they have already parted ways with no less than six members of their coaching staff. Wide receivers coach Connor Embree and running backs coach Todd Pinkston were both fired.

Defensive quality coach Louie Addazio and assistant defensive line coach Alex Whittingham have both moved on as well. On Tuesday, it was reported that assistant running backs coach Mark DeLeone and offensive assistant Kevin Saxton II will not be returning in 2026.

As it turns out, the overhaul might not be limited to the coaching staff. The Chiefs could now see a major change in the front office as well.

Assistant General Manager Mike Bradway has been with the Chiefs since 2018. He started as Assistant Director of Player Personnel before being promoted to assistant GM ahead of the 2025 season. Bradway was part of all three Super Bowl title runs.

On Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that Bradway could be on his way out as he seeks a new role with the Atlanta Falcons.

“The #Falcons have requested to interview #Chiefs assistant GM Mike Bradway for their GM job, sources say,” Rapoport posted on X.

As Rapoport indicated in his post, Bradway could be the latest front office member to move on from the team. Last season, they lost assistant GM Mike Borgonzi to the Tennessee Titans. In 2022, Ryan Poles moved on to the Chicago Bears to be the team’s GM.

The Chiefs have no choice but to approve the Falcons’ request for an interview. Bradway is in line for a promotion to GM in Atlanta, and Kansas City cannot block it.

The Falcons have already interviewed at least four other candidates for the GM opening. Bradway has been added to the list as the potential successor to Terry Fontenot.
