Angel Reese's time with the Chicago Sky has come to an end.
Taylor Rooks reported on Monday morning, April 6, that the Chicago Sky have traded their All-Star forward to the Atlanta Dream. Reese, a first round pick out of LSU in 2024, is heading into her third WNBA season. She will be teaming up with Brittney Griner on the Atlanta Dream.
"BREAKING: Angel Reese is headed to the Atlanta Dream. Sources tell me the Atlanta Dream and the Chicago Sky have agreed to a trade," she reported on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday morning.
Longtime WNBA insider Annie Costabile has confirmed the trade, as well, sharing terms of the blockbuster deal. Multiple high draft picks are involved in the trade between the Sky and the Dream.

The trade is expected to be made official later on Monday, as the WNBA has yet to confirm the official deal, ahead of the 2026 season.

Reese has yet to publicly comment on the move, though she's used to it, having transferred from Maryland to LSU during her collegiate career.
