DiJonai Carrington was ruled out of Friday’s game against the Golden State Valkyries, but the Chicago Sky could have their veteran forward back in time for Sunday’s highly anticipated meeting with the Indiana Fever.
Carrington is currently unavailable because of a foot injury, marking her first absence since returning from a lengthy injury.
The veteran guard made her season debut July 30 and is averaging 10.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 17.1 minutes per game, and has played nine games this season. She also made an immediate impact in the Aug. 8 meeting with Indiana, scoring eight points in four minutes before being ejected following a Flagrant 2 foul on Sophie Cunningham.
