Former Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter, who played in China last year after being left unsigned in the WNBA, has been a major factor for the Las Vegas Aces in the 2026 season.
The Aces, despite winning the WNBA title in 2025, needed a guard who could attack the basket. Carter has been everything Las Vegas wanted her to be, as she leads the league in scoring off the bench with 17.5 points per game.
The 27-year-old Carter is behind only A'ja Wilson in scoring for the Aces, despite never starting for the team.
She is also putting up 2.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals while playing 20.3 minutes per game, further highlighting how impactful she has been for the Aces.
However, as Las Vegas prepares for its showdown against the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday, Carter landed on the injury report.

Is Chennedy Carter Playing Today in Aces vs. Sparks?
The Aces officially listed Carter as "questionable" for the game against the Sparks. The team cited a left leg injury as the reason for her designation.
It's unknown when exactly Carter sustained the injury, but it's worth noting that the scoring guard played just nine minutes in Las Vegas' showdown with the Golden State Valkyries on Sunday.
Carter was subbed out midway through the third quarter and never entered the court again.
A questionable designation usually means that a player has a roughly even chance of playing or sitting out. That said, if Carter ends up being sidelined, the Aces will have to rely on Jackie Young to pick up the slack.
Jewell Loyd could also see an increase in minutes if Carter is ruled out, although that depends if she's available and whether she's healthy enough. Loyd has also been listed as questionable for the game due to a leg issue.
