Charlotte Flair has revealed that her father, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, has become the subject of daily arguments between them because of his social media activity. “The Queen” explained that she regularly finds herself questioning his posts, correcting things he shares and trying to understand why he is suddenly involved in another online argument.

Speaking with Stephanie McMahon on the “What’s Your Story?” podcast, Charlotte was asked how her father was doing. She quickly brought up the legend’s social media habits, admitting that the subject has become a regular source of frustration between them.

“The amount that we fight about his social media. I cannot tell you, it’s a daily thing. I’m like, ‘Why are you in all caps? Why are you yelling at me in your posts?’”

Charlotte Flair also shared a conversation she recently had with Natalya, whose family has a similar connection to wrestling history through her uncle, Bret Hart. Nattie offered Flair a different way of looking at Ric’s outspoken nature.

“Here is what I learned…I was talking to Nattie the other day, and she was talking about Bret, and I was talking about my dad, and she’s like, ‘You know what, he’s earned the right to have an opinion.’ I was like, ‘Okay, that’s one way to look at it.’ Just let him have his opinion.”

That advice may have helped Charlotte understand where her father is coming from, but it has not stopped her from questioning some of the things he sees online. She explained that “The Nature Boy” will sometimes get worked up about something he has read without necessarily having a reliable source behind it.

Charlotte then said she is often left trying to figure out who her father is arguing with and where the information came from.

The star admitted that she sometimes responds to Ric’s posts, although she is more careful when she believes responding could bring additional attention to something she considers particularly problematic.

I’m like, ‘Who are you fighting with? I’m just confused.’ He’s like, ‘I saw it here.’ Seven people follow that website. I comment sometimes. When it’s really bad, I won’t comment because I don’t want to draw (attention). Sometimes I make a joke out of it. When it’s really bad, ‘report, report.’

The most unusual part of Charlotte’s social media battle with her father involves artificial intelligence. According to the WWE star, she has to regularly explain to Ric that some of the images he sees online are not genuine photographs.

“I have to tell him daily, ‘That AI image is not real.’ He sends me pictures of him and other people. ‘That didn’t happen.’”

Despite all the disagreements, the 14-time Women’s Champion made it clear that her frustration comes from a place of affection. She described Ric as her biggest supporter and joked that she would gladly take over his social media accounts if he allowed her to do so.

“He’s like, ‘I’m just so proud of you.’ He is my biggest fan. If he would just let me manage his social.”

Ric Flair’s activity online has continued to put him in the middle of wrestling conversations. Most recently, he responded to comparisons between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay’s AEW All In match and his legendary rivalry with Ricky Steamboat. The Hall of Famer pushed back against the comparison while making it clear that he respects both modern-day stars.

For Charlotte, though, the issue is less about whether her father should have an opinion and more about what he believes when he scrolls through social media.
