Charles Barkley clearly isn’t a fan of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, particularly in the way the former Super Bowl MVP recently spoke about some of his high-profile ex-girlfriends.
In a recent interview with Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio, Barkley was asked about his repeated assertion that the 2026-27 NBA season will be his last as an analyst. When Barkley confirmed that it was, Schein suggested that he may do a “retirement tour” like Rodgers is doing with the Steelers right now.
Barkley took that comparison as an opportunity to rib Rodgers over some of the comments he’s made about his former fiancee Shailene Woodley and his ex-girlfriend Danica Patrick. Last month he said that he took issue with the way the two women acted towards him when they were together.
“But I tell you what though, I’m not gonna bury everybody going out the door like Aaron,” Barkley said, via Awful Announcing. “I’m not gonna burn every bridge and talk bad about all my exes on my way out the door like he’s doing.”
Barkley vs. Rodgers
This isn’t the first time that Barkley has had choice words for Rodgers either. Back in January 2024, after Rodgers made some comments implying that Jimmy Kimmel was in the infamous Jeffrey Epstein files, Barkley said that he would’ve punched Rodgers in the face if he had gotten similar treatment.
“I would’ve punched him in the face,” he said bluntly.

A few months later, he admonished Rodgers over reports that the then-Jets quarterback “in private conversations shared deranged conspiracy theories about the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting not being real.”
In 2022, he joked that Rodgers was “the pretty girl that you gotta tell is pretty every single day” during his falling out with the Green Bay Packers.
Suffice it to say, Barkley has had a lot of issues with Rodgers through the years.
Rodgers is now married to a woman named Brittani and intends on starting a family with her after he retires at the end of this season.
