What are the chances of U.S. President Donald J. Trump appearing on ESPN’s “College GameDay” on Saturday?
The chances appear to be growing.
On Wednesday, reports confirmed that the President of the United States will be in attendance at Saturday’s Week 4 college football game between No. 1 Texas and No. 14 Tennessee.
Secret Service has been spotted in Knoxville, Tennessee in recent days, preparing for the President of the United States’ visit. ESPN’s “College GameDay” will be in town, too. Will the President of the United States appear on air?

ESPN, interestingly, declined to comment when asked if the President of the United States will appear on the show on Saturday morning.
The Worldwide Leader in Sports might just not want to talk about the situation, or maybe they don’t want to spoil any plans.
The odds of a Trump appearance might be growing, though.
President Trump could make different appearances on the show
While it’s still probably unlikely that President Trump appears on the show in person, there’s a growing chance that he could appear via a live video, or taped segment.
Awful Announcing set the odds of President Trump appearing via a taped segment at 15:1.
“For ESPN, it gives them peace of mind about what Trump has to say without dealing with the drama that comes with a live appearance. For Trump, it lets him tailor his message to the PCSA and whatever other tangents he wants to go on, without dealing with the rigmarole of getting to the set,” they wrote.
“There’s also precedent for a prerecorded Trump message appearing on ESPN during a college football game.”
