CBS, TNT Announce Broadcast Teams For 2026 NCAA Tournament

We're less than two weeks away from Selection Sunday, which means the NCAA Tournament is so close we can taste it. But who will we actually be hearing throughout the March Madness broadcasts?

On Wednesday, CBS announced its teams for the NCAA Tournament, which will be broadcast across, CBS, TNT, TBS and truTV.

The lead announcing team covering the Final Four and the National Championship will be the commentary trio of Ian Eagle, Bill Raftery and Grant Hill. Tracy Wolfson will be the courtside reporter.

Three other teams will be working all the way through the Regional Finals:

  • Brian Anderson, Jim Jackson, Allie LaForce
  • Kevin Harlan, Robbie Hummel, Stan Van Gundy, Lauren Shehadi
  • Andrew Catalon, Steve Lappas, Evan Washburn

Finally, four other teams will have broadcast privileges for the First and Second rounds.

  • Brandon Gaudin, Chris Webber, Andy Katz
  • Spero Dedes, Jim Spanarkel, Jon Rothstein
  • Tom McCarthy, Candace Parker, Dan Bonner, AJ Ross
  • Brad Nessler, Wally Szczerbiak, Jared Greenberg

The First Four will have a different set of announcers though. Jordan Kent, Jim Spanarkel and Jenny Dell will cover Game 1 on March 17 along with Games 1-2 of March 18. Brian Anderson, Charles Barkley, Dell and the legendary Dick Vitale will cover Game 2 on March 17.

Studio updates will be done by a 14-person team.

In the Studio

The New York City hosts will be Nate Burleson and Adam Zucker. Adam Lefkoe will be covering it from Atlanta. Ernie Johnson will join the team for the Final Four.

New York-based analysts will include Clark Kellogg, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Renee Montgomery.

Atlanta-based analysts include Bruce Pearl, Jamal Mashburn, Jalen Rose and Seth Davis.

Jamie Erdahl will offer updates from across the tournament, while former referee Gene Steratore will be the rules analyst.

The First Four begins on March 17. The Round of 64 starts on March 19. The following week will be the start of the Sweet Sixteen.

Saturday, April 4 will be the two Final Four games, followed by the National Championship Game on Monday, April 6.
