The Carolina Panthers have had an eventful camp, to say the least. The team has seen several players impress, several players get injured and even seen one player retire.
Now, the team is preparing to kick off the NFL preseason on Thursday night as they take part in the annual Hall of Fame Game. Ahead of that game, let's go back over the full 90-man roster so everybody is familiar before the preseason gets underway.

Key Players On the Roster Bubble

Haynes King: The Panthers haven't usually kept three quarterbacks under Dave Canales, but that could always change. Kenny Pickett, who was brought in to be the backup, has had an inconsistent summer, which seemingly gives King a chance. The Georgia Tech product needs a great preseason to force the Panthers' hand.
A.J. Dillon: There's also no guarantee the Panthers keep four running backs. Chuba Hubbard and Jonathon Brooks look set for a timeshare, while Trevor Etienne provides special teams value. Can Dillon do enough to prove he deserves a spot? He's been quiet so far.
Jimmy Horn Jr.: Jimmy Horn Jr. has a great opportunity due to injuries in the wide receiver room. Xavier Legette is ticketed for the WR3 job, and the team loves David Moore, but Horn could grab the WR5 or WR6 spot. It won't be easy though, with Brycen Tremayne, John Metchie III, and Ja'seem Reed also battling.
Aaron Hall: Aaron Hall's chances to make the roster were boosted when LaBryan Ray suddenly retired. Hall has been the most impressive UDFA on the team, but we need to see if that translates to the preseason.
Isaiah Simmons: Isaiah Simmons has been around the block and is a former top 10 pick. He's been used as a linebacker and safety, and that versatility could help him. He still needs a good preseason to secure a spot, though, as he's been quiet this summer.
