Carlos Boozer and his wife, CeCe, are being praised for how they raised their children.
Duke, the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, was stunned by No. 2 seed UConn in the Elite Eight on Sunday night. The Blue Devils led by 19 points at one point, before blowing the lead late. Cayden Boozer committed a devastating turnover late, with UConn freshman Braylon Mullins drilling a game-winning 3-pointer with less than one second remaining.
But while the loss was crushing, Cayden Boozer owned up to it postgame. He spoke directly to reporters and made it clear that he was putting the blame on himself.
The Boozers are being praised for raising kind, respectful young men. It's not easy to own up to devastating losses like this, especially when you're in college.
But they handled things the right way.
"Many at ACC Network / ESPN are fortunate to call Carlos Boozer a co-worker and friend. Cayden and Cam speaking to reporters this evening is a testament to the job Carlos and CeCe did raising their kids. Those kids were raised right," one journalist shared.

It's been surreal for the Boozer family.
“I think it feels a little bit surreal because when you’re in the moment of making the sacrifice, you don’t think it’s a sacrifice,” CeCe Boozer said during the podcast. “You just go with where your heart is.”
It was a lot of work.
“And I tell people that all the time when they ask, like, how do you do this or how do you do that? And I said, because it’s the only thing I know,” she said. “I put my head down, and I do the work, and I see the goal, and I meet the goal.”
Cameron Boozer is now off to the NBA, while Cayden is expected to return to Duke for his sophomore season.
