Marvin Harrison Jr. is on the move – officially.
The Arizona Cardinals and the Houston Texans have agreed to a trade involving the former Ohio State Buckeyes star wide receiver on Sunday afternoon. Harrison Jr., a top-five pick out of Ohio State in 2024, is in his third year in the league. Reports surfaced on Saturday that Harrison Jr. was on the verge of being traded.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter is confirming on Sunday that Harrison Jr. is being traded from the Cardinals to the Texans.
“Trade: the Arizona Cardinals have agreed to trade WR Marvin Harrison Jr. and 2027 7th-round pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for a 2027 2nd-round pick and 2027 6th-round pick,” he reported.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport can confirm the news on Sunday.
Houston is a chance for Marvin Harrison Jr. to start fresh
Harrison Jr. was viewed by many as a generational wide receiver prospect coming out of Ohio State. He has not lived up to that hype.
However, he’ll now get a chance to reunite with his college quarterback, C.J. Stroud, in Houston. He’ll play alongside another top wide receiver in Nico Collins.
It’s now or never for Marvin Harrison Jr.
