One of Canada's top players has been accused of showing poor sportsmanship following the loss to the USA on Sunday.
The U.S. topped Canada, 2-1, in overtime of the men's hockey gold medal game. Jack Hughes scored the game-winning, golden goal. It gave the United States their first gold medal in men's hockey since 1980.
“This is all about our country right now,” Hughes said after the victory. “I love the USA, I love my teammates … the USA hockey brotherhood is so strong. I’m so proud to be American tonight.”
Canada, meanwhile, wasn't happy.

Nathan MacKinnon, one of Canada's top players, said following the game that it was clear who the better team was.
Despite the loss, Canada believes that it's the better team.
"You be the judge of who was the better team today," he said.
Fans ripping MacKinnon for postgame behavior
"Silver shines just as bright buddy," one fan joked.
"Well Nate, you had a wide open shot at the net and hit the side of the goal, so there is that as well. Better team doesn't always win, the point is to score more than the other team. USA did that. I get fans saying this, but a professional athlete saying it is pathetic. Anyone who knows hockey knows that. Enjoy thinking you were the better team Nate, we'll enjoy holding the Gold medal in reality," one fan added.
"Sometimes the better team doesn't win..case in point..hats of to the US team for finding a way to get it done while being outplayed..." one fan added.
"Well, judging by the team wearing gold medals at the end, I think it’s this one," another fan joked.
Did Canada need to show better sportsmanship following the loss on Sunday?
