It's unclear if the 2026 WNBA season will even start in May, and yet, Cameron Brink of the Los Angeles Sparks is trending on social media this week.

Brink, the No. 2 overall pick from the 2024 WNBA Draft, missed the first half of the 2025 season due to a torn ACL. She returned to the hardwood in late July and averaged 5.1 points per game for the Sparks. Luckily for fans of the Stanford product, she's fully healthy heading into her third year.

While some people are waiting for the WNBA and the players' union to work out a new collective bargaining agreement, Brink is keeping herself busy in Unrivaled. The 3-on-3 basketball league was founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart in 2023.

As for Brink's life off the court, she was asked this week by TMZ if she'd consider posing for Playboy. Her response turned plenty of heads.

“Yeah, maybe,” Brink replied. “We’ll see … maybe. If my fiancé approves.”

Brink has already posed for an iconic magazine in her career. She was included in the 2025 rookie class for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

“I think it’s always really hard to be a woman in this world, but especially a female athlete,” Brink told SI Swimsuit. “Am I supposed to look more feminine? Am I supposed to look more athletic? What’s the balance? What do people think? My femininity—I hold that very close to my self-image, so it’s definitely gone back and forth. I think every female athlete’s had a really rough go with body image. But I’m definitely glad I’ve gotten to a really good place, and I’m able to do stuff like this with SI Swimsuit. It’s just very empowering, so I hope everyone can get to a point like this.”

A few photos from Brink's rookie shoot resurfaced on social media this Tuesday.

SI Swimsuit has not yet announced if Brink will return for its 2026 issue.

If Brink appears in this year's issue of SI Swimsuit, that'll most likely generate a ton of buzz in the WNBA community.
