The stars collided on Thursday night at the 2026 iHeartMusic Radio Awards in Los Angeles, California. United States figure skater Alysa Liu was in attendance as she presented Taylor Swift with one of her seven awards on the evening. Standing by Swift’s side during her big moment was her future husband, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
Liu called Swift “the GOAT of music” as she presented the Artist of the Year Award. The pair shared a moment on stage as Liu handed Swift her seventh and biggest award of the night.
Kelce and Swift then caught up with the two-time Olympic gold medalist backstage.

Liu had quite a lot to say about Swift. She thanked the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter for lending her voice as a narrator for a Team USA promo video ahead of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. According to Liu, Swift inspired Team USA’s gold medal in the figure skating team event.
Kelce was left impressed by how Liu handled herself on the stage. The Chiefs tight end made sure to give Liu her flowers. The cameras caught what Kelce said to the 20-year-old ice skating star backstage.
“You are so good at that. You crushed it,” Kelce said. “... That was a mouthful."
Swift was in awe, too, telling Liu that she was “amazing.” Liu gracefully accepted the couple's praise as they walked away together.
Liu may have stolen a bit of the spotlight, but there’s no denying that it was a big night for Swift. She extended her record for the winningest artist in the history of the iHeartRadio Music Awards with 41 awards.
